As we reach the 4-month milestone of our MP Wind Archer's maiden charter in Taiwan, we’re proud to share the outstanding performance and operational excellence of our new Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV).
From the very beginning, MP Wind Archer has consistently proven her capability as a reliable and high-performing vessel in Taiwan’s offshore wind landscape. Purpose-built to meet the demands of commissioning and maintenance operations, she has played a critical role in enabling safe, efficient, and continuous access to offshore wind turbines in the challenging conditions of the Taiwan Strait.
Her advanced capabilities, ranging from SMST motion-compensated gangway systems to precision cargo handling via 3D cranes, have led to high productivity for our client, while upholding the highest safety standards. Here are some of her notable milestones to-date:
- 1,800+ successful personnel transfers via gangway
- 2,000+ successful transfer via Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV)
- 300+ cargo lifts via her advanced 3D motion-compensated crane
- Zero incidents – a testament to our commitment to safety protocols and crew professionalism
None of these achievements would have been possible without the dedication of our crew on board, our onshore fleet management team and the close collaboration and trust of our valued client. Her performance over the past few months in Taiwan has laid a solid foundation for our future offshore wind operations in the region.
A huge thank-you to everyone who has played a role, whether directly or indirectly, in her success and we’re proud to be contributing to the growth of renewable energy in Asia!
